Despite repeated pleas, the local administration and police have remained inactive, allegedly under a policy of appeasement, leaving Hindu families vulnerable to attacks.

To safeguard the lives, dignity, and property of Hindus in West Bengal, the GHF has put forward the following demands:

  1. Immediate imposition of President’s Rule in West Bengal to restore law and order.

  2. Deployment of central forces to protect Hindus, given the failure of local police.

  3. Formation of a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe incidents of violence and ensure strict action against perpetrators.

  4. Effective government intervention to guarantee the safety and security of the Hindu community.

  5. Justice, compensation, and rehabilitation for affected families.
