The Aarambh

The Aarambh was founded by Joslyn Choudhary. The Aarambh happened with the diligent efforts of Joslyn Choudhary and a few seed members in September 2020 who came together during the pandemic to help those in need. In less than two years, the organisation of a few members gradually received the contribution of students from 14 DU colleges, with the power of social media and conducted countless drives under the various projects.

Main Activities

The Aarambh focuses on several key initiatives aimed at social upliftment and community development:

• Poverty Eradication: Conducting drives and awareness campaigns to support economically weaker sections by providing essential resources.

• Health Facilities: Organizing health camps and distributing sanitary pads, focusing on improving hygiene and health awareness, especially among women in underprivileged communities.

• Educational Support: Helping students from marginalized backgrounds access better education through scholarships, mentoring, and learning resources.

• Community Drives: Regular outreach programs in slums and rural areas, involving volunteers in distributing aid, sharing empowerment stories, and fostering hope.

• Volunteer Engagement: The organization thrives on the energy and commitment of volunteers who gain valuable experiences while contributing to social causes.

• Empowerment & Awareness: Promoting gender equality and women’s empowerment through educational sessions and community interaction.
