It currently operates in Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam (Vizag).

Founder Details

The organization was founded based on the vision of Sri Vidya Upasakulu Late Sri Bankupalli Nageswara Sharma.

  • Inspiration: The current founder (his son) was inspired by a dream in which his father encouraged him to start an organization to help those struggling with daily tasks like cooking for rituals.

  • Philosophy: The organization operates on the principle of “Seva” (Service) rather than charity or pure business, aiming to empower the community.

Achievements

  • Growth: What started with a small group of just 3 Brahmins has now grown into a large organization providing livelihood to over 100 people (including priests and cooks).

  • Community Trust: They have earned a reputation for their compassionate and professional handling of sensitive rituals (like death anniversaries), with many testimonials praising their adherence to tradition and hygiene.

Activities

The organization specializes in Pithru Karyas (Ancestral Rituals) and Vedic ceremonies. Their primary services include:

  • Abdikam: Annual death anniversary rituals.

  • Masikam: Monthly memorial rites performed during the first year of passing.

  • Samvatsarikam: The first-year completion ceremony.

  • Mahalayam: Rituals performed during the Pitru Paksha period.

  • Comprehensive Support: For these rituals, they provide:

    • Priests (Brahma) and Bhoktas (Brahmins to accept the offering).

    • Orthodox Food (Madi Vanta): Traditional cooking prepared with strict adherence to purity.

    • Venue: Facilities for families to perform rituals peacefully.
