Shri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham
Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham was established by Sri Adi Sankara in the year 482 B.C. Since then, it has had illustrious, unbroken lineage of 70 Acharyas leading at the helm in the illuminating path of Sanathana Dharma. Sampradaya Patasala is an initiative of His Holiness of Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam, which promotes our cultural practices and values. It is a fully residential program designed especially for Brahmin girls. The main objective of Sampradaya Patasala is to culturally educate young women who cherish their traditions. This patasala is the perfect blend for equipping girls with formal schooling and cultural values at the same time.
The first batch of Sampradaya was started in 2015 with 15 students. In four years, it has grown to a strength of above 400 students.
Sampradaya Patasala provides mainstream education by offering schooling and college degrees along with training in various vocations like languages, music, fine arts, handicrafts, childcare, yoga and other relevant subjects. Sampradaya’s teaching methods have been designed in a way so as to preserve, protect and pass on to future generations: our family culture, high moral, traditional values and spiritual legacy. Such an approach and initiative will equip women with skill, knowledge, self-confidence and character building. Currently located at two different places, Sampradaya strives to make its mark across the globe in the years to come.
