Bharathi Memorial Foundation

Mr. Rajesh Kotwal, the founder of Bharathi Memorial Foundation, started a home for the destitute. Orphans and handicapped children in the memory of his mother Smt. Bharathi.

Mr. Rajesh was into this service during his life as a student when he was studying SSC. His mother being a school teacher encouraged him to service the needy people. His close association with Ramakrishna Math as a volunteer strengthener his serve the needy people.

Mr. Rajesh by seeing the Pathetic condition of orphan Patients and Destitute lying on the roads has started serving the needy at the age of 15 years from the school days. After completing 15 years of individual service and struggle of Mr. Rajesh. Bharathi Memorial Foundation came into existence during the year 2009.

Mr. Rajesh was not only influenced by Swami Vivekananda’s sayings.

“Rogi Devo Bhava and Daridra Devo Bhava” has started to apply them in real life.

The Pathetic incident that took place in the year 1996 because a turning point of Rajesh which made his motto to serve the needy “It was a death of a destitute orphan who was discarded and neglected by all, but taken care by Mr. Rajesh in Govt. Hospital has taken last breath and confirmed dead by Doctors”.
