Karunasri Seva Samithi is a charitable organization established in 1999, focused on supporting orphaned, semi-orphaned, and economically disadvantaged children, particularly those from Below Poverty Line (BPL) families. It operates as a unit of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (V.H.P.) and is based in Hyderabad, Telangana.

Mission and Activities

Primary Objectives:

  • Provide food, shelter, clothing, and education to children who lack parental care.

  • Foster holistic development by imparting moral values and Hindu samskaras (cultural and ethical values).

  • Prepare children to become responsible citizens and encourage them to serve society in the future.

Key Services:

  • Currently supports around 50 resident students, offering them a nurturing environment and all basic necessities.

  • Ensures children receive formal schooling and training in life skills.

  • Emphasizes the inculcation of discipline, cultural values, and social responsibility.

Community Outreach:

  • The organization also runs skill development projects for women, such as providing jute bag stitching machines to empower women, enhance their livelihoods, and promote sustainability within the community.
