Sri Ahobila Muth
Sri Ahobila Muth is a prominent Sri Vaishnava religious institution, established over 600 years ago by Srimad Athivan Satakopan Swami at Ahobilam, Andhra Pradesh. Originally known as Kidambi Srinivasachar, he was divinely ordained by Lord Lakshmi Narasimha in a dream to take up Sannyasa and spread His message.
Carrying the Utsava Murti of Lord Malolan, he began traveling to bless devotees far and wide. This tradition of Sancharam continues today through successive pontiffs known as Azhagiya Singars, the most recent being the 46th Jeeyar.
