Hindu Research Foundation

The Hindu Research Foundation (HRF) is a Mumbai-based registered charitable trust dedicated to the global promotion and preservation of Hindu Dharma. The foundation works to propagate the spiritual, cultural, and intellectual traditions of Hinduism and strengthen the Hindu society through various educational, social, legal, and religious initiatives.

Their guiding philosophy is based on the ancient ideal of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” — the whole world is one family. HRF envisions Hindu Dharma as a tolerant, non-confrontational, and open religion committed to the ideals of peace and global well-being.

The primary aims and goals of HRF include:

1. Promotion of charitable, educational, moral, and socio-economic development worldwide.

2. Establishing schools, libraries, orphanages, hospitals, and old-age homes.

3. Providing scholarships, awards, and financial aid to students.

4. Restoring neglected temples and supporting their management.

5. Spreading awareness of Hindu Dharma through lectures, seminars, and publications.

6. Organizing and encouraging Yoga Shibirs (training camps).

7. Creating and managing Gurukuls for cultural and spiritual training.

8. Supporting a Chair for Hindu Studies for research and structured courses.

9. Instituting Rishi Awards similar to the Nobel Prizes to honor excellence in various fields.

10. Facilitating collective Hindu prayers and international collaboration.

11. Publishing a Hindu Gazetteer.

12. Coordinating with similar organizations for shared goals.
