Hare Krishna Golden Temple

The Hare Krishna Golden Temple, located at Road No. 12, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad, is the first Golden Temple in Telangana, dedicated to Lord Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy and Sri Radha-Govinda. It was inaugurated in 2018 by the Hon. Vice-President of India, Sri Venkaiah Naidu. It is managed by HKM Hyderabad, a part of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON).

🏗️ Architecture & Key Features

• Golden Dhwaja Stambh: 50-feet tall gilded flagpost at the entrance.

• Rajagopuram: Majestic five-tier golden tower above the temple entrance.

• Maha Mandapam: 4,600 sq ft grand hall for devotees.

• Sanctum Sanctorum houses:

  • Swayambhu Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy (self-manifested deity)

  • Sri Sri Radha-Govinda

• Harinam Japa Mantapa: Devotees chant the Hare Krishna Maha-mantra across 108 steps before darshan.

• Sacred Saligram Shila from Nepal’s Gandaki River placed in the sanctum.

• Morning: 7:15 AM – 12:15 PM

• Evening: 5:15 PM – 8:15 PM

• Weekends: Extended timings till 12:30 PM (morning) and 8:35 PM (evening)

• Darshan Aarti: 7:15 AM

• Tulasi / Sandhya Aarti: 6:45 PM – 7:00 PM
